We are just over a month into the minor league regular season, and when it comes to the Florida State League, there is plenty of data to dig into regarding the hitters.

Exit velocity has become a good way to gauge what kind of power potential a prospect might have. The harder you hit the ball and on a more consistent basis, the more likely you are to reach base safely.

The ones who remain in the upper echelon of hitting the ball hard generally become the game's better power hitters.

Looking at the Bradenton Marauders roster, I took the 10 players with at least 20 Batted Ball Events (BBE) and looked at their exit velocity numbers after April.
