Overview

The Pirates selected Curley as a draft-eligible sophomore. He spent two years as mostly a reliever with Virginia Commonwealth, although he averaged four innings per game as a sophomore. He had a 2.87 ERA, with 35 walks and 78 strikeouts in 78.1 IP. Curley throws as hard as 96 mph. He’s announced a decision to transfer to the University of Georgia, so he may not be that easy to sign.
