Consistency remains key for Khristian Curtis
Righty has continued to show flashes, ability to repeat will be key for rise up the system.
Khristian Curtis accomplished a feat that few will be a part of. He pitched six innings of a combined perfect game, along with Jake Shirk and Mike Walsh.
He also set a new career high in that same game, striking out 10 batters. It’s been an up-and-down year. He has flashed some good stuff but has still struggled with walks and throwing strikes.
As you would expect, when Curtis keeps it in the strike zone, he sees much more success.
That was his biggest takeaway from the 2024 season, knowing that his stuff plays, and that he needs it to be in the zone more to let it play up.
