From the backfields: Wyatt Sanford, Edward Florentino get hits against the Orioles

More obsevations from the Pirates' backfields

Day two of me scooping out the backfields led to getting my eyes on a few prospects I’m pretty high on in the system.

The day started like Wednesday, with some fielding drills, but this time around, we got actual games, this time against the Baltimore Orioles. They played two separate games. One had mostly Triple-A players, with some guys who could end up in Altoona depending on how the major league roster shapes up.

The second game was primarily comprised of Double-A players, with a few notable names that will likely start lower, and another that still has an outside shot at Triple-A depending on how rosters shake out.
