Gameday 118: Pirates start three game set against Padres
Pirates look to end seven game losing streak
The Pittsburgh Pirates look to erase their seven-game losing streak, beginning a series against the San Diego Padres on the road.
It’s a team that swept them back in Pittsburgh the previous week. Pittsburgh has won just one game this month against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
They were swept this weekend against the Dodgers, losing the Sunday game 6-5 despite two home runs from Andrew McCutchen.
Joe Musgrove will start for the Padres, with a game-time expected around 9:40 pm ET.
