The Pittsburgh Pirates erased a 5-0 deficit to come back and defeat the Cincinnati Reds 6-5. Bryan De La Cruz hit another double and drove in two runs for the offense, while Joey Bart went 2-4 with an RBI.
Oneil Cruz went 1-3 with a walk and his 28th double of the season. Bailey Falter didn’t have his best outing, but the bullpen followed up and held the Reds scoreless for the game's final four innings.
With Jake Woodford on the mound, the Pirates will look to clinch the four-game series for the Pirates. He was roughed up for five runs over four innings pitched in his last start against Seattle.
Before the game, the Pirates will induct Barry Bonds, Jim Leyland, and Manny Sanguillen into their Hall of Fame.
