Gameday 13: Pirates start four-game series against Phillies with Jared Jones on the mound
Rookie makes third start of the season.
After winning three of five in their first home stand of the season, the Pittsburgh Pirates will return to the road and face the Philadelphia Phillies in a four-game series.
After blowing a late lead, the Pirates left their last series with a split against the Detroit Tigers. They currently sit with a 9-3 record, which is good for first in the NL Central and the second-most wins overall in the National League.
The Pirates split their season series against the Phillies last year, three games a piece.
Jared Jones is projected to start for the Pirates, making his third career major league start. He will face Ranger Suarez for the Phillies.
Gametime is expected around 6:40 pm ET.
