Gameday 137: Pirates open series on the road in Baltimore
Mike Burrows vs Kyle Bradish
After a day off on Monday, the Pittsburgh Pirates begin a three-game series in Baltimore against the Orioles.
To say the recent homestand was up and down might be an understatement. The Pirates kicked things off by sweeping the Los Angeles Dodgers, only to be swept by the Milwaukee Brewers over the weekend.
They now begin six on the road trip in the DMV, first against the Orioles and then the Nationals.
Mike Burrows will get the start for the Pirates, facing Kyle Bradish with the Orioles.
First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 pm ET.

Yesterday’s Feature
10 Observations: Nelson Velazquez, Duce Gourson, Jack Anker debut
Murphy 9/1: The opportunities to see him have been limited, but when they have come around, Bralyn Brazoban has continually found a way to impress me. He’s flashed some solid hitting, which is impressive considering his numbers in the DSL before coming up.

Cheringtons being Cheringtons.
Can we please get more Yorke less Pham. I would start Yorke every game between now and the end of the season to see if his bat plays. Seems logical. He can play some at second and DH as well.
