Gameday 138: Pirates look to build on come from behind win over Cubs
Paul Skenes vs Justin Steele
The Pittsburgh Pirates entered the eighth inning down 3-0, looking like they were on their way to another loss, but Bryan Reynolds and Andrew McCutchen went deep, with Dennis Santana completing the come-from-behind victory over the Cubs.
Jameson Taillon pitched seven shutout innings against his former team. He struck out three while allowing three hits and a walk.
Jared Jones pitched 6.1 innings for the Pirates, allowing three runs on six hits and a walk while striking out four.
After Aroldis Chapman pitched the eighth, Santana came in for the ninth, picking up his first save as a Pirate and fourth overall.
