Gameday 147: Mitch Keller on the mound as Pirates go for series win against Nats
Pirates have won two of three against Nationals so far this week.
The Pirates jumped out to a 7-1 lead by the end of the fourth inning and then had to hang on right up to the end to secure their second win in the first three they’ve played this week against the Washington Nationals.
Quinn Priester looked solid for his first three innings after following up the opener Colin Selby, but his final frame was a little more what we saw in his first stint with the major league team.
David Bednar picked up his 34th save of the season, and Ke’Bryan Hayes hit yet another double and drove in his 57th run.
Mitch Keller will match up against Josiah Gray on Thursday’s afternoon game, with an expected first pitch time of 12:35 pm ET.

The Stoopid never stops. Keller was at 92 pitches, really would be a boost if he got another shutout. And Bednar is clearly wearing down, and threw 30 pitches less than a day ago. Dumbo should be searching for ways to avoid using him, not looking to get him another effing save at every single opportunity.
69 wins... Noice lol
Also just six wins away from my P2 season preview prediction.
