It has certainly been an interesting year for Johan Oviedo. There have been times where he has looked flat out dominant, but yet others where you question if he can hang around in the rotation.
Oviedo will make his final start of the 2023 season tonight against the Philadelphia Phillies looking for his 10th win of the season.
He’s allowed one run over his last two starts, spanning 11 innings pitched, but has had some control issues - walking 10.
Henry Davis and Bryan Reynolds each hit a solo home run last night, making up all of the Pirates offense in their extra-innings loss.

There was a point where I was worried Oviedo might lose 20, so 10-14 would be a decent finish.
Not sure Oviedo's going to make it through five. Terrible outing against a bunch of subs.
