The Pittsburgh Pirates and Los Angeles Dodgers traded blows back and forth on Saturday. Oneil Cruz hit a home run on the first pitch of the game, with the Dodgers eventually taking the lead.
Cruz would later drive home another run and hit 2-4 on the day with a walk.
Mitch Keller allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits and a walk while striking out six over six innings.
Colin Holderman returned from the injured list and gave up a lead-off home run to Teoscar Hernandez in the eighth inning in a tie game. The next two runners would reach before he was pulled in favor of Joey Wentz.
The Pirates still have a chance to win the series on the road with a game on Sunday. Bailey Falter will start for Pittsburgh, with the Dodgers sending out Tyler Glasnow.
First pitch is scheduled for 4:10 pm ET.
