After winning the second of three against the Chicago Cubs, the Pittsburgh Pirates will go for a series win against a divisional opponent.
The win brought their record to 12-19, which puts them in last place in the NL Central. They trail the St. Louis Cardinals by two games.
Paul Skenes will make his seventh start of the season and is looking to pick up his fourth win. Colin Rea will start for the Cubs. He has an ERA under one in six games this season, half of which have been starts.
The Pirates will host the San Diego Padres this weekend.
First pitch on Thursday is scheduled for 12:35 pm ET.
