The Pirates welcome the Rockies to town for a three-game weekend series

The Pittsburgh Pirates return home after a forgettable road trip that saw them lose five of the six games they played.

It’s been a rough stretch for the Pirates, especially the offense, but if there is a silver lining, the Rockies have just seven wins, haven’t won a series yet this year, and have allowed the most runs this season.

Martin Perez will pitch for the Pirates, who look to continue their strong start to the season.

Cal Quantrill will pitch for the Rockies, with gametime expected around 6:40 pm ET.
