Gameday 35: Pirates look to take series against Colorado Rockies
Pirates look to build off of win on Saturday
Behind another brilliant outing from Jared Jones, the Pirates' pitching staff combined to one-hit the Colorado Rockies, with Jack Suwinski winning the game with a single in the bottom of the ninth.
With the losing streak over, the Pirates look to win the series against the Rockies and will have Bailey Falter on the mound.
The offense continues to be an issue. Despite the win, they have scored more than two runs twice over their past 10 games, the same number of times they have been shut out.
Falter came crashing down to earth the last time but has been solid throughout most of the season for the Pirates. The Rockies will send out Ryan Feltner in the series finales.
