Gameday 36: Pirates head to St. Louis for three against the Cardinals
Carmen Mlodzinski vs Miles Mikolas
After getting swept at home against the San Diego Padres, the Pittsburgh Pirates head to St. Louis for a three-game series against the Cardinals.
Pittsburgh scored a total of five runs this past weekend, including getting shut out the major league-leading sixth time on Sunday.
It was a horrible homestand for the Pirates, who won just one of the six games they played last week at PNC Park.
Carmen Mlodzinski will kick the series off for the Pirates, with Paul Skenes and Mitch Keller scheduled to start the other two.
First pitch is scheduled for 7:45 pm ET.
I’m in Bradenton for the start of the FCL season, as well as to catch some Marauders games next week.

Joe Block: “That brings up Triolo trying to add to that RBI he had earlier this season.”
You can’t write this stuff.
He then, of course, grounded into a DP.
