Mitch Keller picked up his sixth win of the season after pitching 6.1 innings of one-run baseball, and the Pirates put four runs on the board en route to a 4-1 victory over the Atlanta Braves.
Bryan Reynolds picked up a pair of hits and drove in a run, while Nick Gonzales got another extra-base hit.
Going for the sweep won’t be easy, as the Braves will have Chris Sale on the mound on Sunday, as the Pirates send Martin Perez.
A win for the Pirates will put them two wins from a .500 record, and after an off-day on Monday, they should have Jared Jones and Paul Skenes on the mound against the Detroit Tigers.
First pitch is expected around 1:35 pm ET.

Yesterday’s Feature
Eddy Rodriguez has brought ‘toughness’ to the Marauders lineup, and while there has been more then just his presence, the record since he came off the injured list shows his impact.
Today’s Feature
No stranger to getting scorching hot, Matt Gorski is on yet another tear, this time with the Indianapolis Indians.

Lifelong Pirates fan watching Pirates play at home for first time in my nearly 60 years. Wearing my lucky Stargell jersey for 3rd straight game today, hoping for a sweep.
On Friday night after game, I was approached by an elegant looking lady who said, “My sister didn’t want me to say anything, but I just wanted to say thanks for wearing my brother in law Willie’s jersey.” I was a bit stunned, but then said is that your sister? And was she married to Willie? I recovered my senses and got a picture with Mrs. Stargell.
Definitely the cherry on top of my sundae!
Let’s Go Bucs!
Just checking in now. Didn't expect much because they'd obviously be in over their heads against Sale. Most everybody is. But this is worse than expected. Perez getting hurt was going to happen sooner or later, but it's still not helpful. They have no depth. And Delay probably isn't ready to replace Bart yet.
And the bullpen needs serious changes, but BC says, as always, that they already have all the right guys no matter what actually happens on the field. Maybe Tellez moves there.
