Gameday 60: Pirates welcome Ohtani and the Dodgers to town
Jared Jones on the mound to kick off series against the Dodgers
After a day off, the Pirates are back home and set to begin a three-game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Pirates lost two of three against the Toronto Blue Jays over the weekend. They currently have a 27-32 record and now face the team with the second-most wins in the National League.
Tuesday’s game has all of the makings of a great pitcher’s duel, as Jared Jones is expected to go up against former Pirates Tyler Glasnow.
It will be the first time that Glasnow has pitched in Pittsburgh since being traded.
The big news is that Henry Davis is set to rejoin the Pirates today, and he won’t be alone. Jack Suwinski and Liover Peguero also join him as Ji Hwan Bae hits the injured list, and Michael A. Taylor is added to the paternity list.

Golf clap for Jones. Getting Betts, Ohtani, and Freeman 1-2-3 third time through is impressive.
Just when I thought Jones was due for more regression, he out duels Glasnow & the Dodgers. Jared Jones continues to show us he’s not going to back down.
