Beating the Dodger's 1-0 doesn't happen too often, lol.

See what happens when you have good players on your team.

No doubt. Really appreciate Rowdy's defensive contributions tonight.

I’ll take a win against the Dodgers any day of the week, but man. 4 hits…

Just when I thought Jones was due for more regression, he out duels Glasnow & the Dodgers. Jared Jones continues to show us he’s not going to back down.

He admitted that he was pumped up vs. his hometown team. Tough to duplicate the adrenaline for that, but he's a helluva competitor.

Regression can go in either direction.

He stood his ground.

Didn't let that last start drag him down.

Because I'm a giver, I want to pass on a little baseball knowledge to some of you novices. Tyler Glasnow did something tonight that Jared Jones didn't do: he gave up a home run.

Wondered about that. Appreciate you

Mrs. NMR hasn’t liked a player as much as Jared Jones since Garrett Jones.

I can’t figure out the connection.

To be fair, I like Hannah a whole lot more than Robbie or Dan.

Must be the name.

Yohan Ramirez was not good enough for our pen,

but here he is with Dodgers.

Expand full comment

Mets cut him loose. I don't follow the Dodgers much, but it seems a bit wild they'd take on a guy with a FIP around 6.

In a one run game no less.

I’d hate to think that maybe Roberts doesn’t take our lineup seriously 🤔

They haven't lost faith in Chapman. I can understand letting him pitch to Hernandez with Heyward on deck, but once they pinch hit for Heyward, I would have been tempted to go with the right hander.

Expand full comment

I think a Chapman turnaround and a Reynolds turn around would have the biggest impact on whether we make the playoffs this year

Expand full comment

Cruz, we need Cruz.

Expand full comment

agreed but that would not be a turn around since he has yet to match his hype in the major leagues

I don’t know if I have more confidence in Stratton, though. Tough call.

Good point. Dario Moreta, where art thou?

And you can all relax now. So much drama every time he pitches.

WHEW.
