Gameday 66: Paul Skenes faces the Cardinals for the first time
Pirates start a road trip in St. Louis
After a homestand in which they won four of the six games they played against the Los Angeles Dodgers and Minnesota Twins, the Pirates head on the road, with the first stop being St. Louis.
It will be the first time the two teams have faced each other this year, as they have near-identical records.
Paul Skenes will make his sixth start in the majors and will look to pick up a win in his third straight game.
He will be opposed by Mile Mikolas for the Cardinals, with an expected first pitch of 7:45 pm ET.

Yesterday’s Feature
It was another ‘10 Observations’ feature, with a look at Tsung-Che Cheng, Richard Ramirez, and Bubba Chandler, among others.
Today’s Feature
The Bradenton Marauders had a nice little bounce back week against the best team in the FSL, winning four out of six. The FCL Pirates also continued their hitting way. Both were looked at by WTM in the latest ‘This Week in Bradenton’ feature.

Not sure which team has changed, or maybe both, but this is the sort of game the Bucs used to lose to the Crads every single time. This is much better.
After all these years, the Pirates still think Mikolas is Roger Clemens.
