Gameday 78: Pirates look to rebound after lose to Rangers

The Pittsburgh Pirates will look to rebound after losing the first of three at home against the Texas Rangers, 6-2.
Mike Burrows allowed four runs on seven hits and a walk, striking out four over 4.2 innings pitched. Braxton Ashcraft pitched a pair of innings in relief.
Nick Gonzales went 2-4 with a run scored. Joey Bart went 3-4 with an RBI. All nine hits by the Pirates’ offense were singles.
Mitch Keller will get the start for the Pirates, looking for his second win of the season. Kumar Rocker starts for the Rangers. He’s struggled this year but tossed five shutout innings his last time on the mound.
First pitch is scheduled for 4:05 pm ET.
