Gameday 99: Pirates look to complete sweep against Phillies
Marco Gonzales pitches witha chance for back-to-back sweeps
Luis Ortiz spun seven fantastic, shutout innings for the Pittsburgh Pirates as they defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 4-1 on Saturday.
The win clinches a series win for the Pirates, who have now won six in a row. Ortiz has allowed two runs over 20.2 innings pitched this month.
With a chance to complete a series, the Pirates will send Marco Gonzales to the mound. They will face Tyler Phillips for the Phillies.
With a 50-48 record, the Pirates are a half-game out of a Wildcard spot. First pitch is scheduled at 1:35 pm ET.
