Overview
Noble initially attended Oregon, then transferred to Long Beach. In his two years at Long Beach, he pitched mostly as a starter and put up a 3.12 ERA. He wasn’t drafted, but the Twins signed him as a free agent. He throws a fastball around 92-94 mph and relies heavily on a slider or cutter. He also throws a splitter and change. The Pirates signed him to a minor league deal shortly after Minnesota released him in June 2025.
2022-24
Noble threw two innings in rookie ball after signing, then in 2023 went back there. After three starts, the Twins moved him up to low A, where he made ten appearances, nine of them starts. At the higher level, he had a 3.38 ERA and 1.20 WHIP, with just decent walk and K rates of 4.1 and 7.6 per nine innings, respectively.
Minnesota sent Noble back to low A in 2024 and he pitched in relief except for one start. He was less successful, with a 4.78 ERA and 1.46 WHIP. He did get his K/9 up to 11.1.
2025
In 2025, Noble missed the first month of the season. The Twins sent him to high A, where he threw seven innings over six relief appearances, allowing three earned runs. Minnesota released him at the beginning of June and the Pirates signed him. He pitched once in the FCL, then went to Bradenton for seven games and struggled. In 8.2 IP, he had a 6.23 ERA and 1.62 WHIP. At the beginning of August he went on the IL for the rest of the season.
