GREENSBORO—After blowing a late lead, the Grasshoppers rallied and took the third game of their final regular season series 5-4 over the Bowling Green Hot Rods.
Wilber Dotel pitched three innings, allowing two hits and three walks while striking out three. He threw 58 pitches, 31 of which went for strikes.
PJ Hilson hit the deciding home run, his 13th with Greensboro. Mitch Jebb had a pair of hits, including a double, and his 42nd stolen base of the season.
After a 0-4 with four-strikeout performance on Tuesday, Lonnie White Jr. has followed that up with back-to-back games with hits and didn’t punch out at all Thursday.
