A first-hand look at some players down in Bradenton
While there were quite a few hitters that were repeating in the complex, there were quite a few new names on the pitching side that they brought over from the Dominican Summer League.
Perhaps the most notable was right-handed pitcher David Matoma out of Uganda. While in the Dominican, Matoma hit triple-digits with his fastball and didn’t allow an earned run in 16.2 innings pitched while striking out 14 and walking seven.
