Playoff Gameday: ALDS continues with game twos on Monday
Both ALDS continue after having Sunday off.
After having Sunday off, both AL series pick back up on Monday. The Guardians jumped all over the Tigers, scoring five runs in the first inning and winning 7-0. Lane Thomas delivered the big blow, hitting a three-run home run in the first.
Alex Verdugo hit an RBI single that gave the Yankees the win after a back-and-forth game with the Royals in game one. MJ Melendez hit a two-run shot off Gerrit Cole for the Royals.
Game 1: Detroit Tigers vs Cleveland Guardians, 4:08 pm ET
Guardians leads series 1-0
The Tigers will look to get back into the series with a win before heading back to Detroit. They send their Ace, Tarik Skubal, to the mound after throwing six shutout innings in game one of the Wild Card round.
Cleveland will answer with former Tiger Matthew Boyd.

Yankees lead series 1-0
It will be a battle featuring two top lefties in the American League—Cole Ragans and Carlos Rodon. They won a combined 27 games during the regular season.
