Playoff Gameday: Dodgers, Padres play a winner take all game five
Yu Darvish vs Yoshunobu Yamamoto
The Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres play a decisive game five on Friday, with the winner taking on the New York Mets in the NLCS.
A bullpen game resulted in a seven-hit shutout for the Dodgers, finally silencing the Padres offense. Mookie Betts hit a solo home run in the top of the second, one of three by the Dodgers in game four.
Los Angeles used eight relievers, with Evan Phillips picking up the win and no one getting more than five outs on their own.
