After multiple surgeries derailed his college career, Khristian Curtis is on the right path

Khrisitan Curtis was a last-minute replacement for the Pirates in the Spring Breakout game, taking Thomas Harrington’s spot.

It was a big moment for him, as it would amount to his professional debut, as he did not pitch after getting drafted in 2023.

He knew it was a big opportunity for him, not being a well-known name.

“It was a great feeling knowing that I was next up on their list,” Curtis said. “It was a great honor. A confident boost.”
