Richard Ramirez displayed all fields power in standout July
Ramirez hit nine home runs for Bradenton in July
Richard Ramirez had himself quite the July for the Bradenton Marauders, taking home Player of the Month here at Bucs on Deck.
In 22 games, Ramirez hit .321/.387/.741 with a 175 wRC+ while hitting seven doubles and nine home runs. He also drove in 21 runs while scoring 12 times on his own.
The nine home runs he hit in July were more than he’s hit in any of his previous seasons in the minors. His previous season-high was six, which he’s more than doubled this season.
It isn’t an offensive-only profile either, as Ramirez has one of the strongest throwing arms in the minors, as he’s gunning down over 40% of basestealers this season.
