Spring Training Gameday 16: Quinn Priester takes mound for Sunday matchup against Phillies
Priester looking to further his case for a rotation spot.
After losing their game on Saturday, the Pirates look to get back in the win column with a Sunday matchup against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Looking to win a rotation spot, Quinn Priester will take the mound for the Pirates and will be opposed by Max Castillo.
Priester has a 2.25 ERA in four innings this spring, striking out two and walking another batter.
One of his competitors for a rotation spot, Luis Ortiz, pitched on Saturday and allowed three runs on three walks and three hits across three innings pitched.
First pitch is expected at 1:05 pm ET.
