Spring Training Gameday 30: Pirates wrap up Spring Training schedule against the Toronto Blue Jays
Marco Gonzales pitches in the final Spring game for the Pirates
The Pirates were shutout 1-0 against the New York Yankees on Sunday, with Marcus Stroman pitching six innings for the road team.
Martin Perez pitched three shutout innings for the Pirates, putting a cap on his strong Spring.
The other left-handed pitcher the Pirates acquired in the off-season, Marco Gonzales, will get the start for the final Spring Training game as they face off against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Kevin Gausman will start for the Blue Jays.
The Pirates are dealing with some injuries when it comes to their bullpen, so this is one final chance for some of the non-roster guys to make a case to make the team with some additional spots now open.
First pitch is expected around 1:05 pm ET.

Yesterday’s Feature
I talk about the Jared Jones situation, as well as Liover Peguero getting optioned to the minors.
Shelton with another have-you-ever-watched-baseball-before? quote, on Falter:
"He executed pitches really well last year during the season."
The guy had a 5.58 ERA with the Pirates last year, including a colossal gopher ball rate. More like his pitches got executed.
Congrats to Nick Burdie for coming back
