Spring training Gameday: Pirates face the Orioles with Mitch Keller on the mound

The Pirates dropped both of their games over the weekend, losing to the Braves and the Tigers. Joey Bart had a 3-4 game, driving in a run. He’s batting .444 with a 1.278 OPS so far this spring.

Tommy Pham hit his first home run of the spring, and another scored on a Ji Hwan Bae groundout.

Andrew Heaney made his second appearance for the Pirates, allowing four runs on five hits and two walks across 2.1 innings pitched. Caleb Ferguson upped his pitch count to 47, throwing 2.2 innings of shutout baseball.

Pittsburgh will now face the Orioles at home in a night game with a scheduled stream (and statcast). Mitch Keller will start for the Pirates, and Matt Bowman will start for the Orioles.

First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 pm ET.
