What do you fellas think about the writeup Harrington got in BA's statcast standout article this week?

Unique that this article appears at the same time as the original evaluation of Greg Maddux, a kid that did not kill batters with Velo, but with Command, movement, and a deep pitch arsenal.

I have been a fan of Thomas Harrington from the very beginning, because I saw him as a pitcher who had to make it work without the mid to high 90's hoopla, and pitches with a confidence, not unlike how Maddux attacked hitters. With Skenes, Jones, and Chandler providing triple figure gas, we need somebody to slow the bats down and keep hitters off balance with movement. Keller (or possibly Falter/Barco) and Harrington mixed in as 2 and 4 between those 3 at 1, 3, and 5 could work well for the Bucs moving forward. Of course, like the others, Harrington does not hit very well nor can he play CF!

Read it earlier, love it. I don't wanna say worries, but it's kind of a letdown that he appeared to have, and was lauded for, his pitch shape/carry. He got to Triple-A, and all of a sudden it was like he started throwing softer and the fastball didn't have the same pizazz. My working conspiracy is that they're using different baseballs in Triple-A, affecting pitch shapes, and partially what is leading to the boost in offense.

Conspiracy aside, I really like it for his potential moving forward. If he could find 94-95 for the entirety of a start, get a little more ride, it would be all the more better for secondaries and his command.

Think it could just be a bit of fatigue?

Maybe, since he started the year injured, but he also probably has one of the better track records of health and workload going back to his college days.
