maybe i'm overreacting but a bit of a bummer to read about Barco and also see Bubba's progress stalled as bad as it has the last few weeks

Maybe I'm seein what I want to here but Nick Yorke going down with a shoulder injury after smoking Indy last year really sucks. Doesn't seem like he's caught on at all yet in 2025.

So much great dope here.

Barco jumps out since the stat line in AAA is still showing an absurd 12 k/9. Bummer that his split might not be missing a ton of bats.

For those who see him far more than I, does it seem Esmerlyn Valdez has really straightened out his notable "step in the bucket"? He used to have a pronounced opening of his front side that I noticed from highlights seemed to start getting much more direct.

If you want to see stepping in the bucket, watch YDLS and Severino. Huge problem for them.

Doesn't have that problem on the 2 homers he hit the other day. I haven't noticed it much but it may still be there some.

Mostly what I’ve been seeing in highlights. How about that dinger off the position player lol.

Sshhh. We don't talk about that. Rivas hitting a moon shot off same position player is what broke him out his slump lol

I think his slump was Griffin driven and facing some lefties. Think he was pressing after he saw Konner then got back into his approach after a few games.

I partly think that too, as he was moved to 3B so Konnor could play SS.

Per usual, excellent analysis.

I'm not sure how much longer they'll go with the Pham/Canario/Frazier LF experiment. But I'd like to see them replaced with Suwinski/Cook/Simon.

all those guys are garbage

need to make a big trade

A team legitimately interested in building would move along, keep trying guys until someone did something. But BC shows no interest in building anything.

Canario shitting the bed immediately following that 10-game heater in May is a real bummer.

Mola with a homer in the Dominican and Robinson Smith made his debut.

I hope Mole can break out. So far big bonus and little to show for it.

-Keep up with the Zander Mueth updates. I am curious if there are not many MLB pitchers with that arm slot because it is unsustainable. However, if he can throw that way in the majors it could really mess up some hitters as many of their overall metrics might not apply to Mueth.

-The first two plays I saw Simon make in the outfield were amazing catches, one of them being a diving one. Since then I saw him botch two plays trying to make more spectacular plays. I am guessing/hoping he just doesn't know how to play the outfield yet.
