I like this idea. It would be fun if they made this a tournament of some type the last 2 weeks before the season each year. Might be impractical with pretty strict ramping up routines by pitchers.
also with all these women entering the game, I would not be oppossed to watching the Lady Bucs play three innings in between the men´s batting practice and the start of the men´s games
This is great from a marketing standpoint, but I;m not sure the organizations want more than one day of this. With it being three weeks before games actually start, I wonder if some teams view this as an interuption to the plan they had the players on.
Every year there are one or two guys who exceed expectations. Unfortunately for Pirates, lately it’s been guys in lower levels, usually Greensboro, who don’t continue to improve in upper levels. Hopefully this year we see some guys in Altoona and Indy show signs of being able to handle quality pitching.

I hope our pitching will shutdown the Orioles hitters. Also glad it's televised.
By far the most interesting game with their top ranked position players and the pirates high ranked arms.
I appreciate this thorough rundown, Anthony. Thank you
this is so exciting!
when is the first game? it will be streamed?
Yeah... this is a good idea and should be an annual tournament each spring.
I like this better than the WBC

They should have a League of their Own!
The only game is March 14th at night vs the Orioles, on MLB Network

I hope it turns into a tournament
or just get rid of all the other minor league teams and allow each team just one minor league like the NBA
Could really use breakout years from guys on this list, namely some position players like YDLS, blanco, severino, suero, or lonnie white
