BC's shiny new toy Santana blew out a tire last night!

Which is why he didn't make Anthony and his partners list of those missing the top 25 prospects?

Which, also fair to note, he’s not prospect eligible anymore lol

Yea I know. I was being a bit of a wise a** if that wasn't obvious. I realize I have no real counter to the shortcomings of the team and think those debates and frustrations are deserving (usually). My complaint is when I think the comments don't match the thread or are just being beaten to death overtaking more fruitful (new thoughts?) discussions. So .. sorry to John Six - didn't mean to necessarily uniquely call him out, but this was an article on the top 25 prospects with a random / unrelated comment about Santana and BCs bullpen/acquisitions.. I'll go away now.

BTW.. somewhat related to not acquiring the appropriate talent. Back on PP I was forever posting (maybe just twice) a request to have a true / fair / open minded debate on what is fair to expect from the Pittsburgh market / owner etc. I NEVER expected Bob to come out looking good because he shouldn't, but occasionally (more likely in the off season) if truly stacked up - market size, disposable income, # of billionaires in Pittsburgh (who really would buy them), revenue sharing etc. how should this team be run, what is a fair max salary cap. My one 'teaser'... if Skenes is what we think, we have a 5 or 6 year window, because his type of talent can not be resigned or likely even extended without a huge discount in a Pittsburgh like market. Sorry.. way off topic now.

You could say he pitched to his most recent peripherals as opposed to they saw something with him that us mere mortals didn't.
