What about Bryan Ramos of the White Sox? I know he's more the building block that the Chisox might want to keep, but he'd be good to play at SS and maybe LF. Offer the Sox some SP?
I like Soderstrom from that list. I realize that'd mean BRey stays in the OF with that move. If not Bleday might be OK. But he's streaky, and so was Suwinski, so it may not play out well anyway.
As president of the BCFC (Billy Cook Fan Club), I loved what I saw out of his arm and glove in a short sample size. No reason we cant put BRey at first, Cruz in center, Cook in right, and find a controllable LF that even is average on both sides of the ball... thats a lot of holes filled for cheap with likely significant improvement from last year. I will accept no slander of Cook in response to this post :)
I like Cook in left field with his range and arm at PNC (hope his bat plays). They need to find an everyday outfielder or 1st basemen for sure if not both. A short stop would be nice as well and a couple bullpen arms.
Watching the game the guards pen today is something to wish for! But fair point, probably less pressure on cook’s bat to be plus if he can be average plus hold down LF
Ehh, idk. Wouldn't be a terrible option, but being he's a 2B with two option years left, I think they should target OF. Plus, I don't trust trading with the Rays lol
I'm an early-mid 2000's hardcore and metal kid, and also newer stuff. Got to finally see Silverstein and The Devil Wears Prada last night for the first time. I've seen so many bands in the last 3 of 4 years that I never thought I'd get to with this festival.
Deftones came to Nola and played champion square with Incubus some years back. It was awesome.
Rural about 50 minutes from Columbia SC. Near lake Murray. Except my skint ass isn't on the lake. But I moved here for a permaculture project not to go boating.
Thanks. Daughter just stopped bitching about the power coming on. Lad is sick he could give a rats. Got her back in from chasing ducks in the pasture. Get you a pangolin. Or a daughter.
I just believe it would behoove the Pirates to try and improve defensively along with offense. This is in part why I'm cool with Cutch coming back, but it somewhat limiting.
I will post it again, since I carry a 0.000% success rate on things like this, sign Kepler and Tyler O’Neil and see if the Nats want to trade Abrams for Jones. 3 defensive upgrades with 20+ HR potential. Now is it pipe dream? Of course, should it be, heck no.
You'd be saying goodbye to Cutch. Sure, Rooker would be an upgrade at DH, but there are a half dozen other positions where an upgrade would likely be more beneficial.
I would love love love Soderstrom and his left handed 60 grade, light tower power. The type of player we’ve been missing the whole rebuild.

Not seeing too much in his numbers this season that looks like hes going to be much of anything
He's a defense first player. But they do project him as a .240 15-20HR bat. He got high grades in the minors at 3B/SS. I don't know. Just a thought.
Personally I wish they'd have traded for Crochet. We could have parted with Davis and Ashcraft and a pair of ML SP5 for him IMO

What about Lowe from Tampa?

Trading with the Rays is tough. I'd like to get Morgan, Smith and Lesko from them though.
was thinking Josh Lowe
I'd put him at a maybe. The metrics aren't too promising from 2024, and it'd be trading with the Rays lol
I think I am on board with the move BRey to 1st and trade for a young outfielder. I like the A’s targets too!
Power on suckas. Day 9. Kids are singing in the shower. Have a great day.
Where you at, locationally? Florida has another big nasty coming next week
I'm out. Not a huge fan but I felt like this was my concert. https://youtu.be/SwlnxlIwxpw?si=Pdq2qZp1VJndCKUc
I'm currently at a festival in Alabama right now. August Burns Red closed last night, Coheed tonight, and Underoath tomorrow. I feel like a kid again.
I'm an AIC, Blind Melon, Deftones person of that era. But Zeppelin is my Van Slyke of rock bands.

Yeah incubus can get it. Redefine with the voo voo zala or however you spell it. It's worth the moderate tinnitus I have today.
Speaking of random bands, Blindside is playing tomorrow too
My tattoo fella loves coheed. Smashing pumpkins too. But he will slip this sweet jam on when he im in the chair.

Just making sure you weren't in Florida, otherwise I'd say it might be a good time to take the kids on a vacation lol

I'd love to find a way to get Rooker from the A's, agree he's probably not on the table but that bat would sure look good behind Cruz
I also think Rooker would be a huge get. I also would target Laranach from Minnesota. I think he has a ready for a breakout year.

I know we need offense, but improving defensively should be cheap and helpful for a young staff and bullpen badly in the need of a bounceback

I'm open to anyone who can actually hit. We desperately need more power in the lineup and BC sure as hell isn't gonna pay to get it
Rooker played some 1B in the minors.
