"it’s ALWAYS the Orioles thanks to the closeness of Sarasota"

this made me wonder, is there anything distinguishable between Oriole and Pirate hitters? The former has a rep for developing hitters that the latter does not. Also wouldn't be surprised if your attention was more on Pirate pitchers than opposing hitters for obvious reasons.

That last bit, tbh. It's hard, because you might have, I dunno, 70-80 hitters on your full-season affiliates but you're "great at developing hitters" if four of them come through. And I have no idea who I'm watching with the O's, unless it's somebody glaringly obvious like a Holliday or something.

Have you ever looked at Florida Prospect Report? One guy there, Eric, I see at PC and in Sarasota a lot. He's mainly an O's fan. I might ask him this question.

Oddly, I have a clearer idea of pitcher vs. pitcher. The Pirates' seem better. Better stuff at least, not necessarily better command.

Totally understandable, and yeah, I stumble on that Florida Prospect Report guy a lot.

For what it's worth I can't even discern what the opposing hitter/pitcher is doing even when I'm watching video of Pirate prospects so no shade intended, appreciate you responding.
