Having him bunt would be a waste. Don't care what the percentages say. He's simply money late in games. That won't earn him a regular job anywhere as he's not money otherwise, but love having him as a 4th OF.
Some guys just have a knack for pinch hitting/hitting in big moments, and at least this year he has certainly shown that he does. Could make a career of it tbh
All he needs is reps to get more used to bounces, balls hooking, slicing, etc coming off the wall. Endy is the real deal behind the plate. Both will be in most games and Davis Will eventually get the D down in right field to be the primary RF. When Endy gets a day off from behind the plate, he will be at 1B. Works for me!
Any good first baseman would have had it, and his inexperience over there just showed its ugly head again in the 10th. You can’t just throw outfielders over there and expect them to know how to play the position.
The only thing he could have done was leave the bag. The runner would have been safe and still at first. If that happened, the Davis fueled double play never happens because there would have been no runner at 2B assuming Harper was going to go to the plate and get hung up in no man’s land.
Henry Davis is seven at-bats away from no longer being a prospect. He will be a grizzled veteran by early next week. Jose Hernandez appears to be next behind him (still possible he gets there first), then the decision for who Hayes replaces will decide who is next
Someone said they only update it once right after the trade deadline (I believe that's what it said), maybe they will do it before Davis graduates. He's going to drop a lot of value from them though
So this is where all my favorite people hang out!
Glas i Could help you out!
Look who it is! Welcome!
Thank you, Glad to be here!
BOOM!!!!! Goes Palacios!!
Buying my Buctober tickets!!
he was yelling “yeah!! The world is mine!!!!”
Dude plays with his heart, i do love to see that
Palacios bombs away!
Let Palacios hit, dammit.
Kinda like that. Dude comes thru in money moments.
at least liek four that I can think of
certainly playing himself into the picture as the 5th outfielder
he is beating out Joe for a roster spot
He had a hell of a game today!

Good grief. Davis does have a gun.
Hopefully fans will stop with this move Henry Davis to 1st base nonsense.

Davis might have a better arm than Cruz... wonder if he can play 3b?
Between Hayes and Triolo, Davis will never play 3B. Davis in RF for me :)
think he was talking about Cruz?
Could have been.
tank owned Ohtani last week and he has owned harper this weekend
Jason Delay has three doubles for Indy today. Just in case anybody still thinks Dredges serves any earthly purpose.
Delay probably backs up next year with hedges gone i would think
after hedges, Delay stays in indy unless there is an injury
more than enough with Endy and Tank
And Delay in Indy is far more useful than Hedges in Pgh.
maybe they trade some prospects for Kopech or Manoah
The white sox are not the best run team, maybe we could swindle them into thinking gonzales is the next star
Nick is the one to trade - - Termarr is closer that we all expect
Joe, Choi, Hedges, HIll and Hayes out and up come Mason Martin, Malcom Nunez, Andujar and Ortiz
Agree with all but Hayes.
And Connor Joe clearly demonstrates why you don’t put outfielders at first base.
Santana would've had it.

Damn not scoring with the bases loaded there was both tough and yet what i expected lol

Our top farm system per fangraphs days are soon to be over

Lol brey looks lost at the plate all day then flips to the left side and hits an absolute nuke
Dont love nutting, but they really do seem to do lots of good in the community through the bucs
Whoopi
This ump has got a generous zone going this inning
Good to see a REAL catcher back in the lineup. /s.
