After the struggles for Mitch Keller continued, the Pirates look to bounce back after a 14-1 loss on Thursday.
The house of horrors for the Pirates in Milwaukee continued on Thursday, this time on National Television, losing 14-1 to the Brewers in the first of four games this weekend.
A RBI groundout from Jack Suwinski proved to be the only bit of offense for the Pirates on the day, as they mustered just six total hits on the night - none of which for extra bases.
Mitch Keller’s struggles on the mound continued, as he allowed eight earned runs in five innings pitched, bringing his ERA up to 4.35 on the season.
Quinn Priester will get the start for the Pirates, looking to pick up his third win despite an ERA of over nine currently. They will be opposed by Colin Rea, with first pitch scheduled around 8:10.
