Gameday 127: Pirates start series at home against Reds with Paul Skenes on the mound

After losing two of three to the Texas Rangers, the Pittsburgh Pirates return home to face the Cincinnati Reds in a four-game weekend series.
Domingo German threw six shutout innings in his first start as a Pirate, but the offense called to score despite outhitting the Rangers.
Paul Skenes kicks the series off for the Pirates. He picked up a win in his last start. This will be the second time he faces the Reds, getting the win after striking out seven across six one-run innings back on June 17.
The Reds will send Nick Lodolo to the mound, the third straight lefty the Pirates will face.
First pitch is set for 6:40 pm ET.
