Gameday 134: Pirates start weekend series in Cleveland against the Guardians

After a day off, the Pirates head to Cleveland to try and put that horrible series against the Cubs behind them.

They were swept after blowing a huge lead late, allowing 11 straight runs to the Cubs from the seventh inning on.

Pittsburgh now faces the Guardians, who have 76 wins and lead the AL Central.

Bailey Falter will pitch for the Pirates and face Ben Lively, whose 11 wins this year is more than he’s had in his entire career going into 2024.

First pitch is at 7:10 pm ET.
