Gameday 137: Pirates head to Chicago for a series against the Cubs
Jared Jones vs Jameson Taillon
Alex Cobb didn’t allow a baserunner until the seventh inning for the Guardians, paving the way for their 6-1 victory over the Pirates.
Isiah Kiner-Falefa broke up the perfect game and finished with one of two hits for the Pirates that day.
Mitch Keller had another rough game, allowing 11 hits over 5.1 innings pitched.
The last time the Pirates played the Cubs, they were swept-handedly. They won’t have the same three pitchers starting for them this time but will have two—Jared Jones and Paul Skenes.
Wednesday’s starter is still listed as TBD.
Jones will pitch for the Pirates, and will face Jameson Taillon. First pitch is scheduled for 7:40 pm ET.

I really don’t give a fuck if we win a single game after this series as long as we utterly ruin the Cubs season
