Gameday 143: Pirates look for series split against Nationals

Things went nearly as bad as possible for the Pirates, who played two games on Saturday.
They were held without a hit through six innings of game one and blew another late lead to drop the nightcap.
With the pair of losses, the Pirates dropped to 10 games under .500 and now need to go 10-10 the rest of the way to finish with the same number of wins they did in 2023.
To try to get things going, they will send Jared Jones on the mound for his third game since returning from the injured list.
The Nationals will have Patrick Corbin on the mound, who has a 5-12 record. First pitch is scheduled for 1:35 pm ET
