Gameday 145: Pirates Try And Take Game Two Against Nationals
Patrick Corbin held the Pirates in check as the Nats take game one.
After a great start to his Pirates’ tenure, Andre Jackson has struggled the last few times on the mound. He started on Monday and allowed four runs on four hits and two walks over four innings, picking up the loss.
Seven different Pirates picked up hits, with only Miguel Andujar and Ji-Hwan Bae going for extra-bases.
The loss makes it the first time the Pirates have dropped back to back games since August 26/27.
They will face Joan Adon on the mound, making his seventh start of the season for the Nationals.
