Gameday 149: Pirates look to avoid sweep against the Royals with Jared Jones on the mound

The Pittsburgh Pirates will send Jared Jones to the mound looking to avoid a sweep against the Kansas City Royals.
They’ve been outscored 13-4 in the first two games and now have a 70-78 record. Mitch Keller allowed four runs (three earned) while striking out six batters across six innings, picking up his 10th loss of the season.
Jared Triolo reached base four times with two hits and two walks. Bryan Reynolds had another multi-hit day, and Andrew McCutchen hit his 17th double.
The Royals will send Brady Singer to the mound, looking for his 10th win of the season.
