Gameday 150: Pirates look to avoid sweep against Yankees
After dropping the first two games, the Pirates look to salvage weekend home series against the Yankees.
Luis Ortiz struggled with his control on Saturday, walking six batters in 4.2 innings pitched as the Yankees topped the Pirates 6-3 in game two of their three game set.
In the month of September, Ortiz has walked 11 batters while only striking out six across 16 innings.
Bryan Reynolds hit his 22nd home run of the season while Ke’Bryan Hayes picked up his 26th double.
Sunday they will face Carlos Rodon, with Colin Selby listed as the starter for the Pirates.
First pitch is expected to be 1:35 pm ET.
