Nine game road trip begins in Chicago against the Cubs
The Pirates salvaged a win in their series against the New York Yankees with a 3-2 win on Sunday.
Miguel Andujar picked up his fourth home run of the season, and third in his second stint with the Pirates while Jared Triolo picked up a pair of doubles.
Colin Selby opened and pitched two shutout innings and was followed by Andre Jackson. Ryan Borucki pitched two-thirds of an inning and got the win with David Bednar picking up his 36th save of the season.
Now the attention turns to the Cubs, who the Pirates have had less than ideal success against this season.
In 10 games this year, the Pirates have won just once.
All three games this series have an expected first pitch time of 7:40 pm ET.
