So Henry Davis is our worst player by a wide margin, not only did my eyes tell me that, but I check two different sources (Fangraphs, baseball reference) and they both confirm it......
Did anyone else see the throwback uniforms that the Diamondbacks were wearing last night (with the team nickname in Spanish)? Those were the sharpest unies I have seen in years in baseball. I wish the Pirates could produce a throwback uniform like that and use it every game.
One of the funniest things I've ever seen is the Spanish stories that translate the Diamondbacks names into Cascabeles de Arizona, which can be translated two ways. One is Rattle Snakes, which is close to the right name, but obviously not the same. The other translation of the word is Jingle Bells. So I have occasionally referenced them in my own head as the Arizona Jingle Bells
I don't know. Is that what they were? Those were gorgeous old-style uniforms. I love that style and the font of the lettering on the numbers and the nickname was excellent.
I hope Priester gets those 5.2 innings in, and not just due to the graduation factor from the prospect lists. It would be a good way to end a rough first season in the majors. He has also graduated from some prospect lists due to service time (happened yesterday), but I prefer using minimum standards for playing time. So being eligible for some/not for others makes it easier to compare top prospect lists
Let this be Hayes from now on!

Per OAA, he's bad beyond belief in RF. He's the RF version of Austin Hedges trying to hit. And that's on the morons running the team.
He might have had a better WAR by DHing and that’s saying a lot!!!!
This the Endy I’ve been waiting for, a .280-360-430 hitter and good defense behind the plate. Hope he gets there as soon as next year.
BRey finishing in a deep funk. Batting .143 over past 8 games with a 31% K/9.
Killing my fantasy team in the finals.
The inability to put the ball in play with runners in scoring position and less two outs has been the team outdoing this past week.
All year. I've never seen this level of ineptitude before. They're easily last in MLB in BA wRISP.
3 ground balls hit, only one hit hard....
Let's go Bucs!
Miguel Fulgencio and John O'Reilly have been released
Fulgencio sure didn't last long.
Here is to Quinn busting through his service time with a quality start to end his season Beat ‘em Bucs!

Technically the masculine is a toy and the feminine a rattlesnake... because women are like that... you know... lol.
You mean their city connects?

Be nice if Priester improves on his last outing.
So much for that.
He needs some extremely quick innings, which seems highly unlikely. Holding out hope that Marlins start first pitch swinging and hitting it at someone
