Gameday 19: Pirates look to rebound after getting shutout by the Nationals
Bailey Falter vs Mitchell Parker
The Pittsburgh Pirates wasted a quality start by Mitch Keller, managing just four hits and getting shut out by the Washington Nationals, 3-0.
Jack Suwinski picked up two of the four hits for the Pirates.
The bullpen tossed three shutout innings, continuing their strong play as of late.
It’s the offense that’s the story at this point, as yesterday’s lineup didn’t have anyone who finished the day with an OPS of over .700.
With the series now tied at one, the Pirates can play for a guaranteed split with a win. Bailey Falter will start for the home team, and will face a fellow lefty, Mitchell Parker
First pitch is scheduled for 6:40 pm ET.
